About Venus Sensors
Our Mission
Venus Sensors is a company dedicated to developing monitoring systems for air contaminants. It uses nanotechnology and proprietary technology to create sensors for detecting harmful gases affecting communities, volatile organic compounds important for healthcare, and gases used in energy production industries. Venus Sensors aims to develop low-cost monitoring stations that are easy to attend to and ultra-sensitive to the target gases.
Our Team
Our team is led by Dr. Dalice M. Piñero (CEO), who is an expert in synthetic organic and inorganic chemistry, with a particular focus on coordination complexes, polymers, crystallography, electrochemistry, and nanomaterials. Dr. Wilfredo Otaño (CSO) has over 30 years of experience as a materials scientist working with nanotechnology. Dr. Remi Megret is a specialist in Machine Learning, overseeing and guiding the machine-learning framework that enables gas classification. Dr. Mégret has 20 years of experience in the field.
Our products
The gas sensor technology developed by Venus Sensors exceeds some requirements of existing commercial devices, promising to be a pioneer in future gas sensor applications, multi-sensing devices, and monitoring systems.
